Who doesn’t love grilled food on sticks? Especially when there’s a variety of both chicken and steak. Marinated in Bourbon barbecue sauce on Sirloin, spicy orange chicken and pesto Sirloin too! Both red and green bell peppers and a little red onion added color and flavor to each kebab.Depending on the weather, outdoor grill is always best. But today it ended up being our indoor grill which worked just as well.
Seared to perfection and done with beautiful grill marks in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients
Spicy Orange Sauce
- 2 Tbsp orange marmalade
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Pesto
- 1/2 cup fresh basil
- 1 clove garlic peeled
- 1 tablespoons pine nuts
- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
- pinch sea salt
Instructions

Spicy Orange sauce: Add together all ingredients in a small bowl and wisk until the sugar is dissolved

Pesto: Place all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor and process until smooth.

Add chicken/steak to each marinade and toss. Place in refrigerator overnight.

When you are ready to grill, place the meat on skewers alternating with red/green peppers and red onion.
